Important class information

The high expectations we have throughout school, remain a key feature in Year 6. We expect pupils to drive their own learning, demonstrating independence and resilience. Homework is given on a weekly basis and we expect pupils to complete the tasks given promptly as we prepare them for their transition to secondary school.


As your child will be taking their SATs this school year, there are a few things you can do to support them in preparing. These are:

WW2 Britten’s Got Talent Heroes and Villains Super Sleuth


Willow Class took the opportunity of the local area to enhance their geographical skills. An enjoyable, yet muddy, experience.


The class, alongside Rowan and Sycamore took part in a Careers Day, which involved them guessing a variety of vocations and asking inquisitive questions. A great afternoon that I’m sure gave them insight into their futures.
